Pharmacology studies

For pharmacology studies (effect studies in animals) for erectile dysfunction, Dicot Pharma has a long-lasting collaborattion  with Pelvipharm, a world-leading French contract research organization (CRO) specializing in advanced animal models for evaluating sexual dysfunctions. Pelvipharm has produced a large number of scientific articles in the field and have participated in preclinical testing of several drug candidates developed for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. They have collaborated with more than 60 customers, including Pfizer, when conducting preclinical tests in connection with the development of Viagra.

The purpose of the research collaboration was to study the effect of LIB-01 in Pelvipharm's defined and carefully validated animal models and to identify the mechanism of action through which LIB-01 exerted its effect.

Since 2020, several pharmacology studies have been conducted at Pelvipharm, where the pro erectile effect of LIB-01 has been repeatedly demonstrated.
